Brian joined DHD as Geospatial Data Engineer in 2022, leveraging his environmental science and management background. He excels in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis, with expertise in Python, SQL, ESRI, GIS, and more. Brian’s skills span local and cloud computing and include spatial analysis, deep learning, and time series analysis.
Before DHD, he completed a Data Science Bootcamp at Flatiron School, focusing on statistical modeling, machine learning, cloud computing, and ANN. Brian also served as a GIS Field Technician at Evari GIS Consulting, contributing to data analysis and validation, including deep learning classification models and ArcGIS Online.
His earlier role as an Environmental Specialist at SWCA Environmental Consultants showcased his habitat and soil classification survey work across multiple states. Outside work, Brian is an avid outdoorsman, bat enthusiast, and aspiring mechanic.
